– C – Scientist – D - POST CODE:
SC-SD/01 Post:
Scientist – C / Scientist – D, as these are lateral entry positions, selected
candidates shall be placed at appropriate level depending on their
eligibility. Number of Vacancies
: 05 (Five) Essential Qualification: SCIENTIST - C Masters in any Science and
Engineering disciplines with 60% aggregate marks both in Bachelor and Masters
with Five years’ post qualification experience in relevant field. OR - PhD in Engineering with 60% aggregate marks in their preceding
Bachelor and Masters degree. SCIENTIST – D -Masters in Engineering with 60% aggregate marks both in Bachelor and
Masters with Eight years’ post qualification experience in relevant field. OR
- PhD in any Engineering and Science with two years’ post doctoral
experience in relevant field and 60% aggregate marks in their preceding
Bachelor and Masters degree. Specialization: Undergraduate degree with 60% aggregates marks in any of the
Engineering and / or Natural Sciences having M.E/M.Tech/PhD qualification and
minimum experience in one or multiple areas mentioned shall only be

areas of experience: Requisite years of
Research and/or Industrial Experience in one or multiple areas of the
following: - Machine Controls, Software & Hardware Design, Open source
hardware & software, Instrumentation, IIoT frameworks, sensors and

systems designs, cloud computing technologies.: Design and Manufacturing:
Product engineering , Electromechanical system design, Smart Systems, Hybrid
manufacturing processes, Silicon manufacturing, Biomedical devices
development, Sensors and Actuators: Testing, Calibration and Inspection
solutions for electromechanical systems, experience in new and special
product qualification process with international standard. - Experience in development of online training modules, Business
promotion materials, visual design tools, Experience in product requirement
analysis tools, Patenting (assessment, gap analysis, filing procedures),
Business Intelligence, etc. - Nanomaterials synthesis and their novel applications, experience in

i) The candidates are required to remit the application fee of Rs.
750.00 for General / EWS and Rs. 500.00 for OBC (for each post) in favour of
‘Central Manufacturing Technology Institute’ through online payment system
i.e. NEFT / Bank Transfer/Net Banking etc., with the following details: Bank Name: State Bank of India Account No.: 10521862015 IFSC Code
No: SBIN00003297 Branch Code: 3297 Branch Name: YESHWANTHPUR (ii) Payment can also made through Google Pay/Phone Pay using the below
QR Code. The candidates are required to generate acknowledgement of remitted
application fee from the online payment system, containing UTR Number/
Transaction Number and Transaction Date and the same is required to be
attached along with the hard copy of online application. No other mode of
payment will be accepted. (iii) Payment can also made by drawing a Demand Draft drawn in favour
of M/s. Central Manufacturing Technology Institute payable at Bangalore. The following details must be filled up on back side of printed copy of
generated acknowledgement / Demand Draft of remitted application fee. (1) Candidate's Name, (2) Application ID (3) Candidate's Category (4)
Post Code Applied For. The candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / Women category /
Exserviceman / CMTI departmental candidates are exempted from submission of
application fee. |
How to apply
for CMTI Scientist Post:

2. Please read the instruction
sheet and apply by clicking on fresh application.
3. Candidate can start filling
the details against each field, and can save after entering the valid email id.
Once saved, an application ID will be generated and sent to your email id. This
application ID can be used for altering the application form by clicking of
“Click here to edit your saved application”.
4. Once all the field are
entered, you can click on preview and submit. Once the application is
submitted, the application ID and password is generated and sent to your Email
id. The application ID and password can be used to check the status of your
application. Once the application is submitted, the details entered cannot be
altered.
g. After submitting the
application form candidate can download the application and take printout of
the filled application in PDF format. Candidates need to note down “Application
ID” carefully for future communication. The candidates must sign on this
computer generated printed online application.
h. This computer generated application
(Print-out) duly signed by the candidate and accompanied by self-attested
copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age,
education qualifications, experience, re-prints of publications and caste
certificate (if applicable), acknowledgement of remitted application fee (if
applicable), along with one recent passport size self-signed photograph
affixed, should be sent in an envelope superscribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST
