Educational
Qualification:

1. Scientific
Assistant-C (Cryogenic) - Essential
Qualifications: B.Sc. with Physics
as a major subject with minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. OR Diploma in Mechanical
Engineering with minimum 60% marks in Diploma. Essential
Experience: 4 (four) years of relevant
experience in the areas of experimental low temperature physics, Modelling
and simulations in the areas of condensed matter physics or mechanical
engineering, test and measurement instrumentation, automation of test and
measurement instruments. Candidate must have experience in handling liquid
Helium and liquid Nitrogen cryogenic system. These experiences should have
acquired after obtaining requisite qualification. |

Assistant-C (Computer) - Essential
Qualifications: B.Sc. (Computer
Science) with minimum 60% marks in BSc. OR Diploma in Computer Science
Engineering/Information Technology with minimum 60% marks in Diploma. Essential
Experience: 4 (four) years of relevant
experience in the field i.e. maintenance & administration of various
computer based software packages / networks / server / storage / web
development / hardware maintenance etc., after obtaining requisite
qualification. Desirable:- Experience in web-designing using PHP, AJAX, JavaScript; Library
Automation process; Content Management System (CMS) like Drupal / WordPress
etc. |

Qualifications: BSc in Life
Sciences/Zoology/Biotechnology/Animal Sciences with minimum 60% marks in BSc.
Essential
Experience: 4 (four) years of relevant
experience in handling and management of Breeding/experimentation/
maintenance of laboratory animals after obtaining requisite qualification. |

Qualifications: BSc with Chemistry
as major subject with minimum 60% marks in BSc. Essential
Experience: 4 (four) years of relevant
experience in handling any one or more scientific equipment such as NMR, EPR,
Mass Spectrometer, XRD, T.G.A., D.S.C., I.T.C, Confocal Microscopy, and/
Lasers, Optical Spectrometers, etc. for laboratory experiments in chemistry
after obtaining requisite qualification. |

Qualifications: BSc with Biology as major subject with
minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. Essential
Experience: - 04 years of experience in
operating equipment related to the genomics and proteomics in a biological
laboratory after obtaining requisite qualification. |

Qualifications: BSc with Biology as
major subject with minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. Essential Experience: - 04
years of experience in operating microscopes catering to different
applications such as wide-field, confocal, spinning disc, cryo-EM etc. in a

Geology/Applied Geology/Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/Earth Science/Physics

Experience: 04 years of relevant experience
in maintenance and operation of instruments like (not limited to) lapidary
saw, precision rock cutter, grinding unit, lapping and polishing unit,
mounting presses and impregnations units that are relevant for geological
sample preparation / geophysical field work after obtaining requisite
qualification. |

Qualifications: BSc with
Physics/Chemistry/Biology as a major subject with minimum 60% marks BSc. Essential
Experience: 04 years of relevant experience
in Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) after obtaining requisite

Qualifications: Diploma in Civil
Engineering with minimum 60% marks in Diploma. Desirable: Experience in Public Health Engineering(PHE) related work like Sewage
Treatment Plant (STP), effluent treatment plant (ETP), rainwater harvesting
ponds, recharging pits, roads, boundary wall maintenance, sewage management,
landscaping, gardens, bore-well management and temporary water source,

(Machinist) - Essential
Qualifications: SSC (10th Standard) with minimum 60% marks +
Trade certificate of minimum one year duration in the machinist trade. Or SSC
(10th Standard) with minimum 60% marks + Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Essential
Experience: 04 years of relevant work
experience in routine machining work, including (but not limited to) the
operation of CNC & Conventional Lathe & Milling machines, etc, after
acquiring required qualification. Desirable: Higher qualification in
Physics/Mechanical/Electrical will be preferred. Working knowledge of
designs, drawings, specifications, SOLID WORKS, AUTO-CAD, software related to
workshop etc. Experience of rock cutting, working in any workshop or R&D
laboratory of National repute strongly preferred. |

15. Technician-C
(Computer) - Essential
Qualifications: SSC (10th Standard)
with minimum 60% marks + Trade certificate of minimum one year duration in
the computer trade. Or SSC (10th Standard) with minimum 60% marks + Diploma
in Computer Science Engineering/Information Technology. Essential
Experience: - 04 years of relevant experience
in organizing, installation and maintenance of computer facility such as configuration
and set up of networks and relevant software in computers after obtaining
requisite qualification. Desirable: - Previous experience in maintenance of
computer facilities at educational institutes will be preferred. Working
knowledge of system administration on both Windows and Linux systems.
Experience in handling hardware upgradation and maintenance in PCs and
workstations. |

(60%) + Personal Interview (40%) for Scientific Assistant Cadre Posts Written Test
(100%) weightage for Technician Cadre Posts Trade Test
(Qualifying in Nature) is mandatory for both cadre posts. (Only
shortlisted/qualified candidates after each stage will appear in the next
stage) |

Fee/Exam Fee for NISER Technician & Scientific Assistant:

The candidates have to pay an application fee of ₹500/- (Rupees five
hundred only) ONLINE during the filling of online application. The link for

Application fee is exempted for SC, ST, Ex-serviceman, PwBD and Women
